2014-2021
Syrinx first met Brian Graupner, known as dark_NES, on March 29, 2009, when The Gothsicles performed at Circus in Columbus, Ohio. When the act returned to the city on March 19, 2010, for a show at Outland, Syrinx was invited on stage to join the performance of “BAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLSSSS.” This live connection resurfaced on February 22, 2013, during a set at MystiCon in Roanoke, Virginia.
By 2014, Syrinx had become an official live member, joining Brian for select concert appearances. That same year, the two formed Khionik, weaving the new project’s material into their stage sets and continuing to perform together until their final shared appearance in 2021.
